Betchton Parish Council

Bordered by the M6 and the Trent & Mersey Canal, Betchton is a civil parish situated in the heart of rural Cheshire, close to the market town of Sandbach. The parish comprises Betchton Heath, Hassall Green and Malkin’s Bank, and has a population of around 700.


The parish council is a non-party political body and meets at 7:30 pm on the third Thursday of every second month at St. Philip’s Church, Hassall Green. Members of the public are always welcome to attend. We’ll also announce meetings on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Minutes of past meetings will be published on the Agendas and Minutes page after the subsequent meeting has agreed them to be a true and accurate record.
